We received the “Next Break Award” from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries’ “Eating Prize”!

2019.10.11

The "Food trip 'Matsusaka Beef Sukiyaki Experience' at a farmhouse inn" planned by the Taiki Town Regional Revitalization Council has been selected for the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' "Food Prize" and "Next Break Prize"!

This project is held at a farm inn in Taiki Town, which is highly regarded as an area for fattening Matsusaka beef.Instead of simply eating sukiyaki, this project involves harvesting vegetables and mushrooms, and cooking rice in a kettle using spring water from the mountains. It is a ``Food x Agriculture x Stay'' experience where you can enjoy warm interactions with people from all over the world.

The following supplementary prizes are planned.

1. Invitation to award ceremony and networking event for related parties held in Tokyo

2. Providing information to foreigners before and during their visit to Japan

3. Posting on sales sites where reservations can be made, such as TripAdvisor

1. Video production of experience content (about XNUMX minute/book)

5. Dispatch of experts and mentoring for commercialization

Thank you very much to all the external judges who selected us.

We will continue to come up with new projects that will please everyone, so we appreciate your continued support.

*What is the food project?

This is a project run by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries to create an environment where foreigners who have had food-related experiences during their visit to Japan can re-experience Japanese food after returning home, leading to increased exports of Japanese agricultural, forestry and fishery products and food. We are looking for ``food experiences'' that not only involve eating, but also include food x entertainment, food x art, food x sports, food x technology, food x history, etc., where people can encounter, learn about, and deeply empathize with each other through food, and based on the collected examples. Select great ideas.
