Mukaigahama Beach opens on July 7th!

July 7th, 7 marks the opening day of Nishiki Mukaigahama Beach! A prayer ceremony for safety will be held from 4:9 on the day, followed by the serving of henbayaki, a traditional Nishiki sweet.

In the Nishiki area, there is a legend that you must eat this "henbayaki" before entering the sea. It is said that if you enter the sea without eating it, a kappa will take away your "zuu" (a kind of soul).

We hope that many of you will take advantage of this summer.
