Announcement of Japan Tourism Agency JSTS-D (Japan Sustainable Tourism Guidelines) Certification Acquisition

The Taiki Town Tourism Association has obtained certification under the Japan Sustainable Tourism Standard for Destinations (JSTS-D).

JSTS-D is the Japanese standard for evaluating the sustainability of tourist destinations, assessing sustainable tourism initiatives from a multifaceted perspective, including environmental conservation, preservation of local culture, and contributions to the local economy.

This is the second area in Mie Prefecture to do so, following Meiwa Town and Meiwa Tourist Trading Company.

The Taiki Town Tourism Association has always strived to promote tourism while cherishing the region's natural environment, culture, and way of life, working together with the local community.

Moving forward, we will continue to create an attractive and sustainable tourist destination for all visitors, while preserving the rich natural environment and local culture unique to Taiki Town for future generations.
