Okuise no Sato Kobo “Candied sweetfish and pickles”

Products born from Taiki's natural blessings. Candied and pickled wild sweetfish from Ouchi Yamagawa (sweet vinegar ginger, plum vinegar ginger, pickled plums)

The kanroni is made with only wild sweetfish that come up from the Miyagawa River to the Ouchi Yamagawa River, one of the clearest streams in the country, and the pickles are made with ginger, plums, and rakkyo (Japanese rakkyo) grown in Taiki Town, as well as vinegar and honey. We are particular about making products from Mie Prefecture, and the processing is also done by hand. In addition, we process and sell delicious and healthy products that do not contain any preservatives or additives. There is also a restaurant so you can eat there.

Water is the most important thing in a natural sweetfish tank, so we fill the tank with natural spring water drawn directly from Mt. Taiki. ``Natural Sweetfish Boiled'' is cooked for 45 hours by a veteran chef with 5 years of experience in Japanese cuisine. We have many repeat customers from within the prefecture. You can also enjoy sushi, eel, and kaiseki dishes at the restaurant.
