Taiki Town will appear in JTB Gaillac's summer vacation project this year, "Exciting Learning Squad! Summer Independent Research Project!"

This summer, why not get in touch with the ocean and have a special experience that is full of learning and excitement?

The "Exciting Learning Team! Summer Vacation Independent Research Project!" we are proposing today is an experiential tour for families where you can experience the rich nature and rural life of Taiki Town in Mie Prefecture.

Kono-kun, an active elite fisherman and beloved local of Taiki Town, also known as Kozakana-kun, will guide you through the two days packed with learning and discoveries, including talks about Taiki Town's traditional fishing methods, small-scale fixed net fishing, and the marine environment, as well as the opportunity to make a fish encyclopedia, watch fish being prepared, and even have a fish tasting session. It's a two-day experience perfect for independent research, full of learning and discoveries!

Additionally, the farming, forestry and fishing experience guesthouses offer a wealth of memorable experiences that can only be had here, such as vegetable harvesting, cooking rice in an open hearth or cooking pot, and stargazing!

We offer two plans: one departing from and returning to Tokyo and one departing from and returning to Nagoya.
