Title: 63rd Grand Shrine Shikinen Sengu Takihara Shrine Tree Pulling Team Formation Ceremony and First General Meeting

On Monday, November 10th, 2025, the "63rd Grand Shrine Shikinen Sengu Takihara Shrine Tree Pulling Team Formation Ceremony" and the "1st General Meeting" were held, and after the event, an official visit to Takihara Shrine was made.

In preparation for the 63rd Grand Shrine of Ise Shikinen Sengu Takihara Shrine "Sengyo no Gi" ceremony to be held in 16, the preparation committee decided to establish a pulling group today to ensure the success of this once-in-20-years event.

The ceremony included a speech by honorary leader Mayor Hattori Taiki and three cheers, renewing the community's commitment to serving at the shrine events and passing on this irreplaceable tradition to the next generation.

This "Mikihiki Ceremony" is a traditional event in which local people from the Shinto domain pull the timber for the new shrine building that will be erected during the Shikinen Sengu ceremony to Takihara Shrine.

With pride and a sense of community in our hearts, all members of the group will come together as one and take on the Mikihiki ceremony on April 12, 2026.
