Taiki Town Cherry Blossom Spot Information

Taiki Town, located in the central-southern region of Mie Prefecture, is about 30 minutes by car from Ise City and Matsusaka City!

There are three interchanges on the Kisei Expressway, so the area is very easily accessible.

We will introduce cherry blossom spots in Taiki Town.

1. Weeping cherry blossoms at Ryujoji Temple

Ryujoji's ``Furezakura'' has been selected as one of Mie Prefecture's top 100 trees. It hangs down from the tall trunk almost touching the ground, and its petals are small and pale pink with a hint of white, delicate and pretty. During the illumination period, you can enjoy even more beautiful and fantastic scenery.

2. Weeping cherry blossoms in front of Taiki Town Hall Kashiwazaki Branch

The weeping cherry tree, which is over 130 years old, has been designated as a natural monument of the town. It is lit up during the cherry blossom season, and the fantastic scenery is breathtaking.

3. Kasagi Valley Chugoro Cherry Blossoms

The weeping cherry tree was named after the local Mr. Chugoro Ogura, who grafted the weeping cherry tree from the Kashiwazaki branch. The contrast between the vermilion-painted bridge and the cherry blossoms is a great photo spot.

4. Cherry blossom trees along the Sankai-no-Sato riverbed

``Sankai no Go Kisei'' is a direct sales facility that sells Ouchiyama dairy products and Taiki Town specialty products. There are rows of cherry blossom trees on both banks of the Ouchiyama River that flows right behind it. On March 6, Reiwa 3, the "Mini Marche Sakura Festival" will be held under the cherry blossom trees, and shops selling sweets and drinks will be lined up.

5.Cherry blossoms at Nohara Park

Nohara Park, famous for its wisteria trellis, is lined with about 60 cherry trees, and there are playground equipment and an open space within the spacious grounds, making it a perfect spot for families to spend some time together.
