The Shichiho area of Taiki Town is famous as a region for fattening Matsusaka beef, and is home to many skilled cattle farmers, having won the top prize at the Matsusaka Beef Cattle Exhibition for five consecutive years.

At farm inns in the Shichiho region, you can not only eat Matsusaka beef, but also harvest vegetables and mushrooms to use in sukiyaki, cook rice in a traditional kamado (traditional Japanese cooking stove), and more, all while enjoying a luxurious food trip that combines food, agriculture, and experience.

In addition, the water used to cook the rice is the delicious Kiya spring water, which is famous in the area as water that grants eternal youth and longevity.
