There are now just three days left until the Takihara Shrine timber hauling ceremony.

Currently, the weather forecast for Taiki Town on the day is sunny with a temperature of 24℃.

In the unlikely event of rain, please rest assured that we have raincoats available.

Special residents of the sacred territory will receive a happi coat (sash), a bean-patterned obi, a tenugui towel, a bento box, tea, and as souvenirs, red and white celebratory mochi rice cakes, a set of sweets from Taiki town and Ise tea...and

We have Takihara Shrine's sacred timber plaque made from cypress wood sourced from Higashi-Kishu. (See image)
