World Heritage Kumano Kodo Kasaka Pass
At the beginning of the Edo period, when Tokugawa Yoshimune's grandfather Yorinobu entered the country, it replaced Tsuzurato Pass as the official gateway to Kishu. You can enjoy a variety of plants in each season, including azaleas in spring. It got its name because the slope is gentle and you can cross it even carrying heavy luggage.
